TEMPORARY HOUSING INSIDE CAMPUS - HALL GUEST ROOMS
A limited number of guest rooms are available at select HKU halls for students, staff, and visiting scholars requiring temporary accommodation. Contact the hall offices directly for availability, rates, and reservation details.
A variety of hotels and hostels located near HKU offer flexible short-term or long-term stays for students. See the Pre-vetted housing list for information. Please check with individual listings for rates, availability, and booking instructions.
Short-term stay (minimum 30 days)
Students can apply for remaining places in Residential Halls, Colleges, and Residences during the academic year via the Central Clearing Housing Application:

There may also be short-term stay applications available before the revision and assessment periods of each semester for students who wish to stay temporarily in Halls, Colleges, or Residences. Information about these short-term applications will be sent to students by bulk email when available.
Special Housing Needs
